useless info
editIn the Mergers section, the part where Amazing Facts and 3abn were supposed to merge but didn't should be removed because i think nobody cares really. does anyone agree? Smartpotatoe (talk) 20:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Agree. In the scheme of things, this is historical trivia and had no noticeable or lasting impact on the operations of Amazing Facts. If wikipedia listed every business deal that never completed some articles would be many many pages long. Sdenny123 (talk) 20:26, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I looked back into the archives. It seems the article has been purged of its controversy section. That is unfortunate. It appears the article was "protected" by a Seventh Day Adventist who was determined that no mention of the antipathy of Amazing Facts towards the Catholic Church be mentioned. That should be rectified if the article is to be complete and accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.114.176.7 (talk) 20:44, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Where's the Wikipage on Joe Crews?
editI am not Adventist, for what it's worth, but I am still somewhat surprised that Joe Crews, who was the originator of this program and its was its presenter and primary force for about 30 years, doesn't have a wikipage of his own, while the current presenter, Doug Batchelor, does have his own page. I used to listen to Joe Crews years ago on the radio and watched his television show on a few occasions. As a non-Adventist Sabbatarian, I enjoyed his program for the most part. I've only watched Batchelor's show 2-3 times over the years. It seems to me that someone who is affiliated with Amazing Facts, out of respect for the originator of the program, would put together a wikipage for Mr. Crews. I came to Wikipedia to read about Mr. Crews after a conversation I had with someone recently, and there is very little about him in this article. He should have a dedicated page of his own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.80.214.222 (talk) 03:43, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
