Note moved from article to discussion page edit

Ms. Hesser wrote an article on a kitchen knife maker from Ashland, Oregon named Michael Lishinsky of Wildfire Cutlery in the spring of 2001. When Mr. Lishinsky sent her a set of knives in appreciation for the story , they were sent back with a kind note stating that it would not be appropriate for her to accept them . The same thing happened when i sent her a wedding gift a few years later. So no controversy here, thank you . If only we could can some of her integrity and ship it every politician and bussiness man around the world , this would be a much healthier place . Thank you Amanda !

Moved this from main article because I thought it was more appropriate here. AndreasKQ 20:59, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not balanced edit

This article reads like it was written by Mr. Latte. It is filled with dubious, unsourced and unsubstantiated claims:

  • "uncovered the politics behind the New York City Greenmarket"
  • "she was the first reporter at a major publication to write about Ferran Adria"
  • "Hesser applied for a buyout from the Times in late March 2008 and is no longer with the newspaper. She continues to write her "Recipe Redux" feature for the Times magazine"

I recommend that it be completely rewritten or deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fielding99 (talkcontribs) 18:48, 27 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Food52 hyperlinks redirect to Amanda's page edit

So the page has hyperlinks to Food52, but they just redirect to her own page. It seems redundant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.93.177.228 (talk) 20:01, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
