Given that this page covered the populations on multiple islands, it’s more complicated than that to develop further without just making a mess. You also blanked redirects to this page rather than finding new targets. You believe this page should only refer to the Guadeloupe species, where are (or where should be) the others covered now? postdlf (talk) 19:15, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

They should have their own pages, which is why I blanked the redirects. Most I can do is add information from their IUCN pages. This page should not cover all 3 of them. Ddum5347 (talk) 19:24, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

My first question is do we have sources beyond IUCN to verify whether there is a consensus view that there are three species, instead of one species with three subspecies? Or is there established consensus on WP that IUCN is considered authoritative for species description? There is often disagreement on what constitutes a species or subspecies.
