Not seen the episode in a while.

  • "a new speedway racetrack has been built surrounding it" Clunky phrase
  • I think it's worth mentioning that they're at the very top/back of the stand
  • "decides to stop acting like a jerk" colloquial
  • "affectionately kissing him goodnight" Worth a mention, but that phrasing implies that there may be something else going on in this episode
  • "Homer also talks with Ned later that night (revealing that he also parked in the ambulance zone preventing it reaching Maude) when Ned is unable to sleep due to his loneliness of now having to raise his sons as a widower." You're saying a lot in this sentence- could do with rephrasing
  • "to the interesting single girls across Springfield" Again, rephrase?
  • "However, all of Ned's dates are unsuccessful." Worth mentioning with whom he goes on dates? We'll probably have articles/list entries on a lot of them
  • "Fox only offered her a $150 raise, which did not even cover the travel costs" Not so NPOV, sounds like we're on her side
  • "The revelation of the episode's title, "Alone Again, Natura-Diddly", was one of the reasons that many people (including the media and Internet fans) suspected Maude." "The media" isn't a person
  • "Another thing" Rephrase?
  • It'd be good if the article titles were consistently capitalised or (preferably, to my eyes) consistently sentence case, but it's not essential
    • Not sure what you mean. :/ Theleftorium (talk) 11:48, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
      • In the references. Compare "Bart Simpson's neighbor is mad at DIA" with "Actress: Greed Killed Simpsons Character". As I say, not absolutely essential (and it's something I know I'm guilty of) but consistency can't hurt. J Milburn (talk) 12:21, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • "p. 025." remove the "0"?
  • What on earth is this?
    • The link was included so that everyone could access the TV Guide article. I've removed it. Theleftorium (talk) 11:48, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Ref 18- italics? Page number?
  • Page number for ref 22?
  • Ref 26 and 27?
  • Ref 33, you've italicised "p.", but nowhere else
  • Is DVD Movie Guide definitely reliable?
  • Ref 38, page number?

Generally looking very nice- I'll be happy to promote with a little cleanup. J Milburn (talk) 10:47, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

All done, except the page numbers which I can't find because they are not listed on those articles on NewsBank. Thanks a lot for the review! Theleftorium (talk) 11:48, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Is there a way to cite NewsBank in the same way we provide links to JSTOR on {{cite journal}}? (See, for instance, ref 38 in this article.) I've not used NewsBank, but I've used similar services. J Milburn (talk) 12:28, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've looked but unfortunately I can't seem to find a way to do that. Theleftorium (talk) 17:17, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's fair enough. It's not ideal, but I am happy that this article is worthy of GA status at this time. Good work! J Milburn (talk) 01:06, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! :) Theleftorium (talk) 11:32, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
