You can do what I do. The New York Times license allows you to repost it for personal use, I add it to my Flickr account and then I link to the Flickr account from Wikipedia. Adobe has a photo tool inside the preferences you can turn on that allows you have to take a screenshot of the pdf, then you open it in GIMP or photoshop and save it as a png and upload. All is perfectly legal. I would never just post to Wikipedia, too many media files just get deleted for any arbitrary reason. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 00:44, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Somerset Christian College

There is no continuity between AWC and Somerset Christian College so please stop making a redirect of this article to there. The State of New Jersey officially recognized the closure of Alma White College in 1978, it didn't transfer the name to a new educational entity. New Jersey recognizes it as a distinct educational entity and so should Wikipedia. Somerset Christian College occupies the same building 20 years later. Just because Lukoil occupies the old Exxon gas stations shed in the merger of Exxon and Mobil, it doesn't make Lukoil the same company as Exxon. Get it? I would accept your putting the KKK information in the SCC article. Of course there is connection between AWC and SCC. It operates under the same church and the same leaders (Stewart, Crawford, Dallenbach, Cruver, etc) and in the same buldings. It is definitely a resurrection of AWC without the stigma of the original founder. The college was insignificant when it operated, and at times had less than 25 students. It is a waste of space and certainly not encyclopedic to retain such an article R/T-รัก-ไทย (talk) 12:36, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

• Wikipedia isn't paper and this entry meets every criteria for notability and verifiability. There is no rule in Wikipedia that says that the number of students determine if a school gets an article. Berkshire Hathaway is a holding company with over one hundred companies, yet each has its own entry. Google owns over a dozen companies, and each still has their own entries. The State of New Jersey officially closed Alma White College, it didn't transfer the license to a new educational entity. Since the leaders are the same it can appear in their articles as part of their resumes, just as with any other business or educational entity. • I'm somewhat indifferent about whether this article is ultimately merged with SCC. However, I do think if it is merged, that the SCC page should have a robust historical section devoted to AWC and I believe this article should not be merged until the historical section in the SCA article is more robustly expanded and suficiently vetted. So I'm saying whoever is pushing the merger, they should spearhead the work on the SCC page before they repress the merge button. Buz lightning (talk) 23:13, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

I moved that info to the talk page while we are discussing it. New Jersey doesn't recognize it as the same institution so we should not either. Perhaps there should be a section in the church article with a history of education. Having them all together and listing the start date for SCC as the start date for earlier institutions isn't correct. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 20:53, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
