I think I have removed any lines that may be construed as promotional.

I found a peer-reviewed journal from Columbia University that confirms the article's contents.

If there are any other deficiencies please note them or make the changes.

I appreciate the help. This is my first, but hopefully not last, Wikipedia contribution.

References/Further reading

I took the liberty of actually checking out the author of the niemanlab reference (Tim Currie's) website . IMO a possible COI, as Mr. Currie has done work for AllNovaScotia at LEAST six times, as well as submitting work to niemanlab. . Please see http://timcurrie.ca/in-the-media

Well hello again IP user (likely a sock of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Maui39xdfffft and woodbentley) whose only contributions to Wikipedia have been regarding this article. I'm still debating whether to ask for a better source for reference #1 in the article as it was written by a student of the aforementioned Mr. Currie. Reference #2 was written by a colleague of Mr. Currie at Journailsm school. It would appear that Without King's College connections the article wouldn't be referenced at all. Please see "http://www.ukings.ca/fr/journalism-faculty-contacts" All we need is a "reference" from Kevin Cox (one of ans' first employees) and this little circle would be complete. Are there Wikipedia rules stating that academic articles can't come from individuals who work/studied at the same educational institution? NOW I think you're getting it. These references AFAICS are NOT peer-referenced. They look like school project/papers by students of Mr. Currie which, if you'll go back through the archives on this article's AfD was the problem that I (and others) had in whether or not these were in fact reliable citations. I suppose the article should be deleted if more public sources can't be found. No one wants to improve the stub article. You are spending a lot of time poking holes in it. But why didn't this come up during the deletion discussion?
