'Alláh-u-Abhá' or 'Alláhu Abhá'? edit

In Bahá'í literature 'Alláh-u-Abhá' is used, but in this article and in Bahá'í symbols 'Alláhu Abhá' is used. According to me 'Alláh-u-Abhá' is correct. Please confirm. Wiki-uk (talk) 15:32, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

The hyphen is (mostly) only used to separate the definite article AL from the following word. For example, `Abdu'l-Baha. There are three parts... `Abd... al... Baha. In the phrase you mentioned, there is no definite article AL before Abha, so there should be no hyphen. For some reason Baha'i literature has been using Allah-u-Abha, when it should be Allahu Abha according to our own convention of transliteration.

Which one to use? It doesn't really matter. Jeff3000 thinks we should use Allah-u-Abha on Wikipedia because that's how a lot of books reference it. Cuñado ☼ - Talk 07:14, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
