I've just removed "shortly after the introduction of television to New Zealand" as TV started in NZ in 1960, five years earlier than the 1965 date given (see Television in New Zealand). The original comment might be correct if her first show began earlier in the 1960s than stated, but I can't find any references supporting an earlier start date.
