Piano brand exclusivity edit
I believe Mason & Hamlin Pianos also utilize separate aliquots which are individually tunable, not standard duplex. Mbeiers 11:34, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. Mason & Hamlin uses the word "aliquot" ( http://www.masonhamlin.com/craftsmanship/ ), but I'm not sure if they mean "true" aliquots, or just tunable duplex scaling. Perhaps someone who knows can clarify. - Blueguy 72.150.208.71 (talk) 18:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Separate ideas edit
There are two quite separate ideas being discussed here, confusingly, in the same article. Conceptually they belong in separate articles; however, they may be too low in importance to actually have two articles.
The lead section should be rewritten to say that there are two different topics on this page with two completely different definitions, which happen to be referred to by the same word.
I'll do it later, if someone more knowledgeable than I am doesn't do it first. TooManyFingers (talk) 20:27, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
