False information in the 'Development and release' section edit

Hi: I'm writing as I am concerned about the false statement within the second paragraph of this section stating that "the entire Mindscape US and Mindscape UK staff on the game were fired" after the legal problems with Fox regarding the 'Aliens' license.

My name is Steve Hutchins [1], and I was the Lead Producer for this title at Mindscape (as listed on this game's credit and existing Wikipedia page. I and the other employees involved were not fired after the release of this game. I did have a dispute with my division manager regarding the product and it's release to manufacturing...which ironically happened while I was out of the country working on another Mindscape game title. I specifically quit in protest over my boss's assigning blame for this product to myself, after asking to expedite the game's completion by working for over 30 days without a single day off. As such, this incorrect information both is defaming and just plain wrong. Below is what I think would be a more accurate description of the facts upon the release of the game:

| The U.S. version of the game was completed in October 1994 and released to manufacturing, of which an initial 120,000 units were produced. In December 1994 Fox disputed that Dark Horse possessed adequate contractual rights to allow sub-licensing of the property to Cryo and Mindscape for a videogame. This caused a delay in the game's release, with Fox eventually relenting and allowing Mindscape to sell only the existing stock, disallowing any further manufacturing or marketing. |
