"Siblings" are sisters and brothers. We don't know the siblings of Alice (but I think the word you wanted was "children.") Jane and Joan are probably identical, as these are just various English versions of the feminine of John. The number of her children by the king is disputed.Dearagon 04:59, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Historians have speculated on Alice's parentage for centuries. We do not know if Perrers was her father's surname and if it was, which possible male Perrers may have been her father. I therefore deleted the declarative statement of her father's identity.Dearagon 17:20, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Opening Statement

Children

So I was just reading the article on Edward and it says that unlike his predecessors he did not father any illegitimate children. Yet here it says that he fathered a bastard with Alice Perrers. Could somebody do something about that? I don't like changing articles because I'm not very good at doing the whole links thing properly. Thanks. Lenachka25 (talk) 07:36, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Sir John de Southeray and Matilda Percy?

Where exactly is the information coming from that Edward III and Alice had a son named John? I can't find anything on it other then on amateur sites. Also, that he married Matilda Percy? Hotspur and Elizabeth Mortimer had two children; Henry and Elizabeth. Even though it is incorrect and is being taken out, on Hotspurs page it said that Matilda died young, so how could she have married John and had two children?! Wikipedia ancestry is so off it's unbelievable! I'm rather disgusted seeing all these errors which leads people who are researching ancestry to believe that they are descended from these people. I've even had run ins with people who insist that they are a descendant of so and so and have ended up adding that person on here (Wikipedia) to make it seem legit when people have NO clue that Wikipedia can be altered by ANYONE!
