Was the title of the film inspired by this song, by any chance? FiredanceThroughTheNight (talk) 16:44, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
The Simpsons edit
I removed this section because it mis-characterized “The Simpson’s” as having parodied, in part, the film Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, when in reality it was simply one joke where the title was referenced in a single line of dialog. I first edited it to make this clarification, but on reflection felt the entry—given it’s weight in the article—was providing a false equivalency of importance. It seems a really trivial usage to merit inclusion in this article, and I notice that a “References in Popular Culture” section was previously removed for having similar entries of trivial nature. If anyone disagrees and wants to restore it, I would be curious to read their argument. ShelbyMarion (talk) 13:14, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
