I suggest that there should be greater disambiguation between the terms "Alias," "Pseudonym," "Nickname," and "Pen Name." Also, I believe we need to determine if (a) Maiden Name is restricted solely to women's surnames before marriage (there is debate as to whether a man's surname before marriage who subsequently adopts his wife's surname upon marriage -- rare, but it happens -- should be considered a "Maiden Name"); and (b) if a woman's name as maiden is automatically considered to be an "alias" if she has adopted the last name of her spouse upon marriage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmoloney (talk • contribs) 16:31, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
