Discussion of tone issues edit

The tone of this article is not encyclopedic. There are many idioms such as:

  • colorful reputation
  • answering the call for gold
  • off the wall
  • chewed up by the system

These phrases should be made more factual and concise. Hadron137 (talk) 00:32, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The entire section Alfred E. Clarke seems to be copied directly from an article filed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license (CC BY-NC-SA). This license is listed as not compatable with Wikipedia in the table License Compatibility with Wikipedia. I hesitate to remove the content, because I'm not entirely familiar with the standard protocol or copyright rules and CC definitions. For now I added the attribution tag   This article incorporates text available under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license., but this isn't entirely correct. What's the best way to proceed? Virtually the entire article was copy-pasted from several sources, so I've stubified it. CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 is not compatible with Wikipedia. –dlthewave 21:59, 29 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
