Month of death
editGrove says it was 5/17 November. Google confirms this, and also has a few hits for 5/17 September, but none for 5/17 February. I'm changing it to November. -- JackofOz (talk) 12:27, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Composer project review
editI've downrated this article to Start. The biography is sketchy, lacking in personal details. The body also does not deliver on explaining the competition with Glinka (mentioned in the lead), or the reasons for Mussorgsky's poor opinion of him. The works list is also clearly incomplete, and the article needs copyediting to improve its English, and for a better encyclopedic voice. Magic♪piano 13:06, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I would like to see some elaboration on Mussorgsky's perspective as well. Varlaam (talk) 18:46, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
