About "Vorkriegsklima"

edit

Hi, I´m a member of the spanish Wikipedia making a translation for this article to our language. I have some knowlede of the german language too, so I've read the german article and found great similarities between these versions, wich leads me to think there has been also a translation to english from german. The point is that I've found a word lacking of translation. The word "Vorkriegsklima" is a composite word coming from the german: Vor (before, previous to something)+ Krieg (war)+ Klima (weather, climate, environment, surrounding situation) = pre-war climate...,so the english expression should say something like: "For a majority of his youth was spent in the politically tense pre-war climate in Geneva", instead of "For a majority of his youth was spent in the politically tense Vorkriegsklima climate in Geneva"
