Article flagged for being misnamed edit

This article needs to be redone with the new title "Alexandar Aksakof" and moved there. Even one of the photos in the article showing his signature "A. Aksakof" supports this. The psychokinesis article has a supporting reference for his coining the term "telekinesis" and for the source of the signature photo. 5Q5 (talk) 15:36, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • This article needs to be redone with the new title Alexendar Aksakof - This article needs nothing of the sort. Neither do - Ivanov, Petrov, Sidorov etc etc. -- Evermore2 (talk) 10:22, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
The current title, "Alexandr Aksakov," is correct. It should not be changed. Nihil novi (talk) 03:13, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay . . . maybe as perceived by Russian writers but in Germany and elsewhere in Europe he styled his name as Alexander Aksakof. The article in this English-language Wikipedia will be a fradulent biography and violate Wiki policy if it doesn't mention that, so I did, with multiple references. Thanks for prompting me to investigate this discrepency, a mystery which is now solved. 5Q5 (talk) 18:06, 30 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
And here's another famous Russian known by an "of" in his last name: Alexander M. Poniatoff. 5Q5 (talk) 16:12, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
