Overall the article is pretty good, however there's a few things I'd like to see fixed:

  • Any info on his family or more early life info? If not that's okay, thought I'd ask though.
  • "Rhodes started his football career at non-league side Newmarket Town, who he joined aged 17 when he broke into the club's youth team,[2] while also working as a coach at Cambridge Regional College." from "who he" onward the sentence sounds kinda awkward.
  • "He scored more than 30 goals in the 2002–03 season,[7] before he came to the attention of league scouts, including Norwich City, Cambridge United and Yeovil Town, the following season after three successive hat-tricks in September 2003." Did he come to attention due to the hat tricks or the 30+ goals, or both? Reword.
  • "He was unable to play in the third round tie after he suffered a serious knee injury against Walsall which kept him out of action for the rest of the season" A citation would be nice for this.

I'll put the article on hold. Upon the above being fixed i'll go through again and either pass it or point out anything else. I'll give you a few days, since I didn't find too much. Wizardman 05:57, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the review. Hopefully, I've addressed the points, but feel free to query anything again. Peanut4 (talk) 22:37, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • One more tiny query. It says he plays as a striker or left winger. Does he play one more frequently or is it rather split? It's something that could probably be pointed out. Wizardman 17:20, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • He is predominantly a winger but occasionally plays striker. I've gone through all the sources and most refer to him as a winger rather than striker. That does back up what I originally thought but my only concern is there is no definitive source to say as such so it's a little original research. I've amended the lead as such but don't want to really force the issue until I can find more info on it really. What do you think? Peanut4 (talk) 19:54, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
