Support Alex was never called anything but "Alex" in the climbing community.71.101.152.225 21:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

How about mention of his grand teton traverse? And aren't there some other amazing climbs that got left out?

Thief edit

He stole my bungee cords once. Apparently the bungees that I used to hold my gear to the back of my bike came off in the parking lot at Black Tail butte. When I went to leave they were missing. Some of my friends that were there said that Alex saw them on the ground and took them. They say you shouldn't speak ill of the dead but he's a bungee thief. I am joking of course, but that is a true story. I hope the Wiki nazis don't delete it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.57.109.180 (talk) 04:33, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Indecipherable section edit

"On a climb up El Capitan in Yosemite, one of Lowe's climbing shoes was holed in the toe box. Instead of quitting, he completed the climb, friends later recalled, by wearing his shoe backward."

What the hell does this mean? What is a toe box? How can you wear a shoe backwards? 130.63.0.18 (talk) 12:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
