Alex Carey (cricketer) → Alex Carey
– Alex Carey (cricketer) is clearly a Primary topic as per Pageviews and Google search. ~SS49~ {talk} 12:58, 17 June 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Newslinger talk 06:18, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Comment If this move does take place, then it removes the need for the DAB, all that will be needed is a hatnote on the Primary article to the other article. I would say that the cricketer is the clear PT at the moment, but as others (@Jack Upland:) have mentioned at the previous RM, this may not always be the case. I've certainly never heard of the writer, but I don't know how widely his work is used in social sciences etc. You need to adapt the google search to prove the primacy too. - Thanks Spike 'em! DAB is not needed. ~SS49~ {talk} 01:58, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
- Support From the two articles on WP, the cricketer is the primary one. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:48, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. The writer clearly has lasting significance. The cricketer is likely to be out of the limelight after 10 years. Having a DAB page is not a problem and there is no need to change what was decided last year.--Jack Upland (talk) 20:24, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. The writer has long-term significance whereas the cricketer only appears to have risen to prominence in the last couple of years. Not convinced we have a primary topic at this time. PC78 (talk) 15:05, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
- Weak support due to his career in Australian football and cricket. Störm (talk) 23:59, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
