Does anyone know exactly where and when he was born? It was in South Rhodesia obviously, but which city?

A close reading of 'Redemption' will show that 'Alex Mango' seems to refer to Paul Foot rather than Alex Callinicos so I have removed the reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Histomatist (talkcontribs) 10:21, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Describing Callinicos as "an adherent of the Trotskyite branch of Marxism-Leninism", is quite peculiar. Followers of Trotsky call themselves Trotskyists, not Trotksyites, a term used exclusively by their enemies. They also don't use the term 'Marxism-Leninism', although they are of course Marxists and Leninists. I think I'm just going to go ahead and change it. 131.104.248.245 (talk) 02:35, 1 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. This was fixed since this comment was posted. The text now reads An adherent of Trotskyism. --MarioGom (talk) 15:01, 19 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
