Honestly, I think this article should be renamed with "Tkachev" as the last name. (Strange that this talk page has a different last name than the article!). With the 'ë' in the last name, as it is transcribed in the cyrillic on the beginning of the article page, which I have also never seen before, perhaps "yov" is appropriate. But, as I said before, I have never seen that. I have *always*, without exception, until now, seen his last name as simply "Tkachev" without any diacritical marks. Even on http://www.gymnast.ru they don't include the diacritical marks. Without the 'ë', that's definitely how his name transliterates exactly. If I don't get any objections any time soon, I'm changing it because I honestly think it would be much more easily recognized by any native English speaking gymnastics fan. I didn't even realize that the link to this article was actually for Tkachev until I explored it.Miloluvr (talk) 01:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
