Hi there. After looking at the article, I saw some small problems to this article. First, the last paragraph in the "Later Life" section has no references in it, as well as the list of major works Carpentier made. And also, shouldn't this article have a infobox about the writer? I'm not one of the primary editors but I've been watching the article, so I'll just comment that infoboxes are optional but if the primary editors would like to add one I'd be happy to show them how. See Ernest Hemingway for an example of a writer with an infobox; it's the box on the right at the top of the article. Personally I don't think they're worth the space they take up, but some readers like them. Mike Christie (talk) 11:05, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
