When I first edited/started this article, I didn't link it to the proper stub cathegories.... actually I don't like to complete articles by myself, it's more interesting if other users do that on my behalf. Anyway, Alan Wilson played guitar and harmonica, therefore I'm labelling the article again as a stub-musician Brian W 00:33, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Photo needed, and upgrade

Very own website?

How can a musician have his "very own website" when said musician is dead? He can have a website devoted to his music, but it's not his. Parts of this article read like blathering fandom. Articles like this need to be written from a neutral point of view, detached from the subject. This is an encyclopedia, not a fanzine.

Oh, and "very"? "Very" is the most useless word in the English language. If something is your "very own," it's your own. 71.92.98.115 (talk) 18:44, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Crickets. Quiet around here and I notice it has been that way for some time. The article is still listed as start-class on the WikiProject article quality grading scale. It would be nice to see some editing progress made towards improving Alan's article. I have made some attempts to beef up the references, novice editor that I am. Woodstock film

The article says, "Although Canned Heat's performance was cut from the original theatrical release of the Woodstock film, they were featured in the 25th anniversary 'Director's Cut'. The exception was Going Up the Country, which was featured in the opening credits of the original Woodstock film." This may be referenced, but it is incorrect. Going Up the Country was played early in the film (not during the credits), but it was the studio version, not the Woodstock performance. The Woodstock performance of Going Up the Country was, however, included on the Woodstock album. 86.44.192.221 (talk) 08:44, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
