Presidential Medal of Freedom?

edit

Should the article mention that Page won the Presidential Medal of Freedom? I added this to the opening paragraph, but it was later deleted. Ejkrause (talk) 14:06, 17 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

discussion on perceived excessive detail

edit

Greetings all. To be brief, I am curious what usually qualifies as excessive detail for an NFL MVP and 100th anniversary team member. Page is oft-regarded as a top tier player, yet his player bio here is quite short. It seems that nearly all NFL MVPs (even the only other defensive MVP, Lawrence Taylor) and generally most HOF players have more detail than this page. I don’t mean to suggest 200ish characters on Page starting all games of his last season while recording 10 sacks makes the page way more in depth, I’d honestly argue the page could stand to have far more added, but I think one sentence being reverted is unnecessary pruning given Page is far more notable than a pretty short player-career section. Even if a defensive player, and not a star QB or RB, it’s not as if he was an offensive lineman with few stats, he won an MVP of course, and got a lot of media coverage. Thanks in advance for any replies. La rodman (talk) 16:02, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
