Just a general reminder, any claims that the mosque was built in the 7th century should be treated as WP:EXCEPTIONAL and need support from clear and explicit academic sources, almost certainly from archeologists in this context. It is well-known in Islamic archeology and art history that claims about early mosques are difficult to substantiate, often unsupported or contradicted by evidence, or often purely based on local or apocryphal traditions (e.g. see this recent article, comment here, etc). Some of these claims get repeated by local news sources, travel literature, and other non-academic sources.
