Cleaned up the entry in general but made no significant alterations. I removed what seems trivial and added what seems important. Kleinecke 17:08, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Maghazi are not alone
editPerhaps there is also the Kitab ar-ridda at our disposal. Edition by Hamidullah and Jabburi (see «al-Waķidi» on Encyclopaedia of Islam, by S. Leder). --Cloj (talk) 16:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Strange Referencing
editThe following reference (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Al-Waqidi&oldid=998621949#cite_note-Dhahbi,_Mizan_pp.110-111-28) ["al-Dhahbi, Mizan, vol.3 pp.110-111 Ibn Sayyid al-Nas, vol.1 pp.18-21 Ibn Abi Hatim al-Razi, Kitab al-Jarh wa al-Ta’dil, vol.4 pt.1 pp.20-21, Hyderabad (India), 1953"] is listed in a peculiar manner and I have no idea if it's referencing 1 book or 3. Can someone please clarify this and break these down if it's ,multiple references? - Wakemeup38 (talk) 03:04, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
