editHello everyone. Kibbutz Ein Gev was established in 1937, a decade before the 1948 war. Its lands were purchased from an Iranian landowner of the Bahá'í Faith, by the German-Jewish company Kedmat Kinneret. Small parts of the area were purchased from Arab landowners by Yehoshua Hankin, also before 1937. The Kibbutz was not established on lands belonging to al-Nuqayb. I would be glad to supply sources. Thank you, and peace to us all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.228.198.31 (talk) 12:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, the land that JNF bought from Bahá'u'lláh heirs was the village land of Al-Nuqayb, at least according to Khalidi, Huldra (talk) 22:56, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
