Translation of old name (السكك الحديد) edit

The name السكك الحديد literally translates to "Railways" not "Iron Railways". It's a calque of the French chemins de fer, "ways/paths of iron" or "iron ways/paths", which translates to "railways". You'll find that all sources consistently translate سكك الحديد simply as "railways" (see, e.g. Egyptian National Railways, Arabic: السكك الحديدية المصرية, romanizedAl-Sikak al-Ḥadīdiyyah al-Miṣriyyah).
