The content of this page is far removed from the title. For example, there was no connection between the ARCS and the 21st Troop Carrier Squadron's Detachment 2. Nor was there a connection to the later missions other than that some of the office replaced ARCS units when it inactivated. Article needs pruning
editThis article contains much material that has nothing to do with Air Resupply and Communications Service, but instead, adds a mishmash of various special operations and reconnaissance operations (see above comment about the 7499th Support Group). A brief paragraph titled "Background" or "Predecessors" at the beginning of the History and perhaps one at the end, but details of the Bay of Pigs operation have nothing to do with the subject.
