Plows edit

Plows are actually used less frequently in the U.S. today, with offset disks used instead to turn over the soil and chisels used to gain the depth needed to retain moisture.
First, isn't the described method just another type of plough? Second, it states that this is happening in the U.S. Does that mean that this is not happening anywhere else? KSiimson (talk) 09:09, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dairy farm machinery? edit

There's no discussion at all of dairy farm equipment. Perhaps link to that article? Simesa (talk) 21:47, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

General Quality and Focus of Article (2021) edit

This article, in its current form, seems to skip between topics and does not, in my opinion, provide good linking to other articles, or provide a structured flow.

I propose that the beginning of the article should focus on the role of agricultural machinery, with the next section focused on both static machinery and towed devices used in modern farming.

On the undertitle edit

I accessed this entry through the Android app and the undertitle/classification, ie the gray text (on dark mode at least), shows to me as "consumption of feces" (through here there isn't an option of attaching a screen grab). Furthermore, I accessed the mobile version of the page on Firefox and this doesn't show. The same for the "desktop site" option. At least on the editing mode of this app, this is nowhere to be found—via magnifying glass. Likewise, I am not able to find (again via 'search') any record of this on the article's history. I would use my computer to try and explore further but I will not have access to it for about a week... so that's that. Carlospt (talk) 11:24, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I do not see this. Invasive Spices (talk) 13:57, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Very strange. That is not in the wikicode or wikidata entry. Invasive Spices (talk) 14:07, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is that in the app? Invasive Spices (talk) 14:17, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Invasive Spices yes... Very odd not to be registered and more so by the trolling message... Carlospt (talk) 14:56, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
some entries have that kind of "classification", but not all Carlospt (talk) 14:57, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Found out that you can edit the article description, but the thing is that description to edit is perfectly correct... Yet it appears "consumption of feces" nonetheless. Fascinating conundrum. Maybe a WP rogue programmer having a laugh?
