Speedy deletion? edit

This was added within seconds of me completing the first draft so I am not sure how anyone could have formed the view that AGMARDT wasn't important. AGMARDT is a significant funder of primary sector research in New Zealand and I think its history as a successor to the phosphate money arising from the mining of Pacific Island nations is interesting in and of itself.

The trust is a New Zealand crown entity and therefore an organ of state. For me the existing stub is a work in progress.

Organs of state are not inherently notable; I've worked for several which have no business having articles in Wikipedia. Make your case by providing solid links to impartial third parties (not to government websites). --Orange Mike | Talk 03:57, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
