Protagonist not called "E"
editThe nameless narrator himself is the protagonist with the relationship to Agnes. He is often referred to as "E" in literary analyses, "E" standing for "Erzähler" (German: "narrator"). 77.200.5.130 (talk) 18:22, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
