Pandit

edit

I don't think this particular title needs its own page. I do not see any sources or references for this article. WP:RS I have redirected it to Pandit where info about this title could be added. Please don't keep reverting to an unreferenced, unwikified page without improvements or explanation. Clubmarx (talk) 02:59, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

No: 'Agga Maha Pandita" is the top religious Title awarded in a country (Myanmar) where the word "Pandit" is alien and not recognized in day to day usage. Any idea of deleting this from Wikipedia may be viewed as an insult to a great religion, the country and the people of Myanmar. U Maung Maung Lwin

No. The same word may have quite different meanings in different contexts. So to redirect to Pandit does not make sense and seems to be ridiculous (no offence). It has to have its own place.75.54.120.197 (talk)

Why are you keep on redirection on different page that has absolute different meaning on it? That's Pali language and you can't understand since that language doesn't use in your country and that's our understanding language that we had been used very often and almost anyone know in that country, normally it's Buddhism term and you obviously not Buddhism and that's not your language to understand and your redirect word Pandit word that Pandit word came from Hindu and nothing to do with Buddhism. If you are really helping to wiki please don't do like that someone who got knowledge or known their languages , spent the time to write it and if you redirect again and again that insulting someone and it's very rude for someone contribute works. That original word term know by millions of Burmese people from Burma and i just sharing in the world that who haven't known.

and not always you don't have to see every single sources and references of everyone wrote since if you want it you have to learn as a Buddhism or their common languages , will spend long time.

in your word you had already said that , "You don't think", thinking can't get just always right 100% if you don't know exactly as by real knowledge person so i really request that please leave me, that's our language that came from Pali.

The page will continue to keep grow after other Buddhist monks or knowledgeable persons who related to this by continue contributing.

Thank for understanding and i request you to not do that again. Myo007 (talk) 07:06, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've pulled these from the article--they may be useful but should be references, not just listed. --Nuujinn (talk) 15:49, 10 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
