Democrats views edit

Are there any suggestions that President Biden is 'too old' for a second term, coming from within the Democratic Party? GoodDay (talk) 08:53, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Most of the US population including Democrats thinks so, yes https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/poll-americans-on-biden-age/story?id=107126589 https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/4191741-over-half-of-democrats-concerned-about-bidens-age-poll/ --FMSky (talk) 08:59, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wanted to be sure. Upon first reading the page, it appeared to suggest that only Republicans & over-all Biden opponents were raising concerns about the president's fitness for office. GoodDay (talk) 18:57, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Turf war? edit

@Youknowwhoistheman: how about incorporating some of the material in your draft into this article? There are sources both for ageism and a double standard in public perception and how news media report verbal gaffes (Trump is as uninformed and incoherent as ever but gets the "Trump being Trump" bonus while "hold[ing] forth in speeches replete with macho rhetoric and bombast that typically last well over an hour, a display of stamina").[1]

This article is not intellectually honest edit

It is neither neutral nor factual in its tone or facts. I tried to make it better but this whole article tries to make any concern about Joe Biden's age a Russian plot when it's Americas who are saying these concerns primarily. 208.102.167.48 (talk) 20:08, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Also whoever keeps deleting my info from https://apnews.com/article/biden-hur-garland-classified-documents-836b99fe9cbef9ba7d32602f4928efec is, by definition, vandalizing the page 208.102.167.48 (talk) 20:29, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please stop spamming BLP violating material into the article. Rambling Rambler (talk) 21:07, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

is it typical to prevent article improvement while considering this page for deletion? edit

The article is up for deletion, which seems like the worst time to lock it. If retitled, this could be an important article. Daddyelectrolux (talk) 22:39, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Potential manufactured claim edit

Putting here in case there's attempted reinsertion. The claim of "A paper by S. Jay Olshansky, PhD, of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Bradley Willcox, MD, MSc, of the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawai'i at Māno, among others, has stated that Biden exhibits characteristics consistent with super-ager status," and that all evidence "evaluated by experts in medicine and aging science" points to Biden being in good health for his age" looks to be a potential manufacture.

It was in fact an opinion piece, not a paper, and there is no quote saying "and that all evidence "evaluated by experts in medicine and aging science" points to Biden being in good health for his age". If attempted to be put back in I suggest removing as a BLP violation. Rambling Rambler (talk) 02:04, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
