At the risk of being pedantic, can we say that there is a "correct" pronunciation of his name? The original document is written in Hebrew, but the pronunciation of Hebrew has varied significantly, should we go with the current standard pronunciation in the state of Israel? Some might question if he is a historical figure, but if he is do we go with the contemporary Hebrew pronunciation or what he might have been called by his own people? Checking the original source (Jewish Encyclopedia) it seems that "in Arabic" was not part of this text. I'm removing it, and it makes much more sense now.

Looking at the history of the page, it seems that someone added the text "in Arabic (عجاج meaning storm)" to this part, and then later the "(عجاج meaning storm)" got removed by someone else, leaving the sentence weird. Regardless, it was moved to the top of the article, except that I'm not sure that the Arabic spelling/meaning is actually useful here. Was Agag, as the name of the Amalekite king, called that because it means storm in Arabic? Or is the Arabic word derived from the name of this king? If the former, it should be in the article. If the later, it has no more place in the article than, say, the Russian spelling of the word. Fieari (talk) 00:55, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
