Blatant self-publicity!
editEven the opening paragraph drips with publicity...
'Affinity Sutton is one of the largest providers of affordable housing in England managing over 57,000 homes and properties in over 120 local authorities.[1] As a housing association, Affinity Sutton builds and manages a range of homes for people with a variety of needs and budgets. As well as owning and managing properties, Affinity Sutton delivers a number of community focused services in the areas that they work.'
'affordable housing' - what is that supposed to mean? Housing that is inhabited is, by definition, affordable. Marketing speak.
'for people with a variety of needs and budgets' - in other words, for people. All housing is for people. Marketing speak.
'delivers' - provides? Supplies? Builds? These would make sense. 'Delivers' means transports from one place to anther and gives to a recipient. Misuse of standard English word. Marketing speak.
'a number of community focused services' ' in the areas that they work' (leaving aside that 'in which they work' would be correct English) Etc., etc.
The whole article oozes marketing brochure. Why, I wonder, was the article apparently deleted before? I don't need to wonder much.
Strongly recommend deletion again, unless Wikipedia is a repository for marketing brochures and not an encyclopaedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.130.102.59 (talk) 04:26, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
