As far as I can tell from my side of the screen: the image simply isn't working.. DrWho42 17:59, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It seems obvious—to me, at least—that if people like AIM are concerned about their image, they're in the wrong business. – AndyFielding (talk) 08:11, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation

edit

Is the 'George Clinton' mentioned in the member ship list purely fictional?

If so, there is a link to George Clinton which is a disambiguation page, and the fictional character may need adding to the list.

Well he did make the Cosmic Cube.

He controls funk, not soldiers

edit

Since George Clinton, funk musician, was never ever part of a fictional terrorist orginization, I've removed the link to his article. Lots42 12:41, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nameless

edit

A nameless AIM soldier plays an important role in the X-Men storyline called 'Assault On Weapon Plus'. I wonder if he should be added to the list and if so, how? Lots42 12:43, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just created a login to wikipedia for this particular discussion. I apologize if my post isn't in proper format.

You will notice that further down the list is a 'Bernard Worrell', a protege of the the former director, George Clinton.

In the real world, there is a Bernie Worrell who played keyboards for P-Funk. He is especially noteworthy for the song 'Insurance Man For the Funk'. The original appearance of George Clinton happens in a 1971 issue penned by Stan Lee, and may just be coincidence as George and Clinton are pretty common names, and it's hard for me to imagine Stan's funk being made into the P-Funk so soon after the band's creation. Bernard Worrel, on the other hand, doesn't show up until Cap Annual #7 in 1983, and I'm sure that guy (Peter Gillis) had heard about P-Funk and included an homage.

Somebody that knows what they're doing should include this in a trivia section or something.

Aimless

edit

Shouldn't the A.I.M. parody, Aimless from normalman, be mentioned? - Nobody Man 173.71.5.173 (talk) 20:02, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
