The phrase "immigrated to the United States" is inappropriate

edit

The phrase "immigrated to the United States" is inappropriate. It has a geographical bias which reveals a bias on the part of the author. I would respectfully suggest to the author that the word "immigrated" be replaced with the word "moved". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.158.142 (talk) 10:18, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm not the original author, but stumbled across this note here and figured sure, why not change it? I've kept the link to the immigration article, however. I think the link might be an example of over-linking, but I'm conflicted about it so I left it there.--Grapplequip (formerly LAR) (talk) 04:48, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
