Why would he want to "leave Europe" if Germany won the war? One would expect he'd leave if Germany lost the war. I think this perhaps should be "lost the war" or could use some elaboration as to why he'd leave if Germany won...perhaps his thinking was he'd spread the Nazi ideology elsewhere. 2600:8805:5805:A00:9C9D:6AB3:CBF8:A317 (talk) 11:13, 2 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
As someone who was part Jewish he'd have good reason to make himself scarce. I assume he was also well aware of how the Nazis handled their former allies--note how the NSB was forbidden from organizing mass meetings after 1940: the Nazis didn't like competition very much. Amateur psychology suggests he was very confused about everything anyway; the source suggests this was said in 1944, when his world had fallen apart. Anyway, no, it should not be "lost the war"; the source is quite clear. Drmies (talk) 19:17, 3 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Currently, there is no information on this page as to what happened to Adriaan after he was imprisoned and, presumably, released. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.139.187.46 (talk) 12:57, 2 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
Like so many other NSBers he sort of moved into obscurity; that badge of shame must have been hard to lose. I assume that the ban on performing (whatever the legal status may have been of that ban--I assume the Eereraad functioned like a kind of kultuurkamer, maybe in the way that actors' unions do in the US) effectively got him off the stage. He obviously couldn't tour in the Indies anymore, they having become Indonesia, and who'd want to touch his halfbaked racist drama theories? But, in short, really nothing is known.
