What's really different than a canoe? edit

It's cool that there is a separate article on this, but would suggest suggest clarifying why this is referred to as a name different than canoe. The only thing it says in that area is that construction methods are different, but canoes are not defined/limited by construction methods. Perhaps it is a naming tradition based on it's area and use? Different because it's rowed with oars? North8000 (talk) 12:32, 13 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
