popular culture section & differences between the superstar and superstar II
editThe popular culture section is excessively long and should be trimmed down IMO. More important areas such as the B-Boy and hip-hop/Run DMC association with the shoe should be highligted.
It would also be useful to have a section detailing the differences between the Superstar and the Superstar II Climp + on + on (talk) 12:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Post about the 35th anniversary series Meego2 (talk) 06:07, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
I don't want to blanket delete it without checking but that link at the bottom "trendsdepot" im pretty sure is a site selling fake sneakers. Adidas superstar 35th anniversaries for £50 = warning lights imo.
Superstar Vulcano
editI bought a pair of Adidas Superstar Vulcanos recently. I did some research, and it's a Superstar adapted for walking more than basketball, and there isn't an article. Should we add it to the list of variations? Thanks, BlackSabbath1996 (talk) 22:45, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
????
editThe new versions are vastly inferior to the classics as the soft textile lining has been replaced with hard mesh. This has reduced comfort for the wearer and results in an inferior shoe.
I don't really think this is necessary IMO. It seems like OR to me, and seems like it was taken from a review from Amazon or Zappos. I'm gonna remove it from the article.
the really annoying thing is that the vast majority of new superstars do not have the sponge flat tongue like the originals - its very hard to find anything like the originals now — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.73.104.252 (talk) 03:38, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
