Balkania

How did he propose Balkania and separation at the same time? Did he change his mind at one point? Stop The Lies 04:52, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Stop_The_LiesReply

He was for a confederation with Kosovo as a Republic, then a referendum would permit a Referendum for Independance... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.194.8.73 (talk) 16:32, 23 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Regarding his Release

edit

The main article claims that he was released by Slobodan Milošević. Given his aspirations for a more centralized and Serb controlled Yugoslavia in 1990, his institution of a puppet leader in 1989, and lastly, his advocation for the use of force to suppress the ethnic Albanian protests in Kosova at the time; it seems extremely unlikely that he would have released a known Kosova Albanian freedom fighter. Additionally, Janez Drnovsek, who was chairman of the collective presidency of Yugoslavia in 1990, claims that he was the one who managed to garner enough votes to release him and other Kosovo political prisoners in his article for which I've put the reference below.
