WP is not a place to air grievances.

Some glaring omissions edit

No mention of the fact that the system is opt-out, in violation of the GDPR. Also no mention of the fact that the opt-out requires manual intervention for dozens of companies, and those that are "automatic" often don't work.

Then you need to repeat the whole process in every browser you use on every device you own. Oh, and if you clear your cookies, you have to start all over again.

That's exactly right. The system is clearly just window dressing. Opting out is basically impossible. A good adblocker (uBlock Origin) is still mandatory when using the web. --Chic happens (talk) 16:16, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
