These have not been billed as Across the Great Divide Tour, however still involve both bands performing together and they are after the twenty-second show and before the last two shows of the Across the Great Divide Tour itinerary.

This is clearly false, posters and flyers in NZ are clearly labelled as the Across the Great Divide Tour. The reference also had no supporting information. Jevon 02:18, 16 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's not entirely inaccurate, considering the perspective. When I wrote it, there wasn't an indication as to whether it was or wasn't part of it. As it now is confirmed, then it's perfectly reasonable to remove that part of it.   • Oppose. I honestly don't know what to make of this. Most of the stuff in it isn't notable and I can't say the topic is even encyclopedic. It is a pretty strange type of list; the only other one I know of on Wikipedia is Sweet Escape Tour, and that failed its FLC. Some outstanding specifics:
    • "The Ballarat show originally scheduled for the September 16, was postponed due to a fifteen-metre tear in the performance tent, which is being used in regional areas as the concert arena, where large enough venues are not available. The concert instead went ahead the next night." Poorly worded and insignificant at best. Seems more like trivia.
    • "On September 9, while performing at Sydney's Acer Arena, Fanning made news for attacking the 2007 APEC Australia Summit in Sydney. In a pause between songs, Fanning described the participants in the summit as "fuckwits"." Not relevant, and doesn't fit in any "background" section I've ever seen.
    • "Tickets went on sale on July 9 and the shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Wollongong all sold out within half an hour. The Gold Coast and Newcastle shows sold out by mid-morning, and Perth also sold out within hours." All of it is unsourced.
    • "Prior to the tour, Powderfinger and Silverchair performed numerous MySpace-exclusive concerts, with only 200 tickets made available." More or less unimportant and unsourced.
  • Overall this isn't really Featured List material. The majority of it isn't even a list. I seriously question the encyclopedic nature of this article and whether or not it "forms a significant topic of study". NSR77 TC 23:30, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't know,I figured more than half of the page's content is a list, then it would be assumed it was a list. Anyway, if it's not a list, it'll have to go up to GAN. I don't think it's ready yet (again, I was just getting things prepared for it). Since I was trying endlessly to find information abut the tour, and much of it wasn't very helpful, I found that yourguide.com.au hosts most of the regional newspapers and has a search function. Most of the local towns that hosted the tour have a little old music reviewer who reviewed the concerts. I don't have time to scour them all, but this should more than put a rocket in the crotch of this article. Check out each of the towns that have a newspaper on there and see what references you can come up with and what extra information you can scrape out! --rm 'w avu 14:23, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
