extinct fern edit

This also appears to be a genus of extinct ferns. Example Acitheca polymorpha.©Geni (talk) 13:17, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Deletion or renaming edit

As of 2013 (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/323584152_2590_Proposal_to_conserve_the_name_Acitheca_against_Strephopteris_fossil_Pteridophyta_Marattiopsida), it appears that the fungi genus has been renamed "Aciascus" to avoid conflicting with the extinct Marattiaceae genus Acitheva. It would therefore be a good idea to completely overhaul the page to reflect such changes Cryptic72 (talk) 19:14, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
