This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (it details (or will further detail once I work on it a bit more over the next few days) the characteristics of Acinetobacter iwoffii, as specific species of the genus Acinetobacter. If you go look at the Acinetobacter page, nearly every species except for iwoffi has its own page. Considering Acinetobacter iwoffii is actually more medically relevant than a lot of the other Acinetobacter species with their own page, this page should not be deleted. If you absolutely insist on deleting it, than the pages for, say Acinetobacter parvus, should really be deleted as well. ) --MedTeam1B (talk) 03:11, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (this page details Acinetobacter iwoffii, a specific species within the genus Acinetobacter. iwoffii is medically relevant and causes numerous nosocomial and the occasional community-acquired infections each year. This page should not be deleted because people deserve to know more about this ubiquitous bacterium. Also, please note that almost every species of Acinetobacter listed on the Acinetobacter page has its own page (even the ones that aren't very medically relevant). If they can have their own page, so can iwoffii. Thank you. Also, sorry if I contested this twice - there are storms in the area and my internet + the electricity is being super weird) --MedTeam1B (talk) 03:17, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
