This is a vital article about a very important subject in ancient history and it would be excellent to promote this article to GA. Unfortunately, this is going to have to be a quick fail because, right now, this article is quite a long way off from achieving GA-quality. For one thing, it is very severely lacking in citations. In order to reach GA, every single statement in the article must be cited to a reliable source for verifiability. Furthermore, several of the sections in the article require expansion and there are significant aspects of the subject in question that are not fully covered. I sincerely hope to see this article brought up to GA some day, but, sadly, that day is not today. --Katolophyromai (talk) 01:49, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
