Merge edit

Anyone want to say why they thought silver and sugar maple should be merged? They are two completely different species, both with decent pages -ChristopherM 01:52, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Freeman maple edit

I'd like to propose that Freeman maple should have its own page. It should tie as closely to Acer rubrum as to A. saccharinum, and a separate page would allow expansion. Nadiatalent (talk) 14:23, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Swamp Maple edit

I have added swamp maple as another "common" name for silver maple. I can't give a citation for this addition except to say that that is what my father called it when I was growing up in Eastern Ontario. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.22.179 (talk) 11:31, 6 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

CItation found. Now the only one without a citation is Creek Maple. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 13:05, 6 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
