Yes, it's from Brooks's writings. I'd do something about it, but am worried that Brooks' use of the phrase doesn't match the article. Perhaps that UML book referenced uses the term differently? The article on essential complexity on the other hand seems to capture Brooks' idea, and is well-referenced. JöG (talk) 09:17, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
